This Welding Practice Test is designed to be used as a study method for passing an examination on the fundamentals of welding. It is intended for anyone wishing a career in the welding industry, advancing their technical or engineering level of knowledge. It is also suitable for on the job training and apprenticeship training programs. Welding codes state that the 'certification' of a welder is the responsibility of that welder's employer. When we conduct testing of a plate or pipe for welder certification, we sign the appropriate code form, stating that we conducted the testing of the weld to the requirements of the applicable code.

hi iv just signed up to do a 15 week mig welding course to get me bs certificates but everyone i talk to says i should have just got copies of certificates done does anyone think this is wise or done it an if so where did they get it done?

If you want to live your life as a phoney welder thats up to you, but most phoneys get found out fairly quickley when they start working along side good tradesmen, so do the course and get your certs the honest way.

Any decent company would blow you out of the water, and the HSE would have a field day with you if the job went wrong and killed someone... up to you if you want a nice new 'friend' to look after you in the showers.

A fake certificate may get you an interview when you apply for a job, but how do you plan to bluff your way through the inevitable trade-test at the interview if you haven't done the course?
Forget about fake certificates. If you're serious about getting qualified and experienced in the welding trade then invest in some professional training or find a company that is prepared to train you.

try tescos ....head ul not have to fake it there imagine comming on a welding site and asking that question a 15 week mig course wont make u a welder and ul get found out on every job
