Any help is appreciated, I am truly stuck and need some real knowledge about the main clutch and it's part setup that is not shown to well in the LPC1 manual on page 2477. Mechanism wont scan left after playing a record from right to left. It is a type 133S1. The clutch is free and moving well. The mechanism does everything well except when the clutch member is dropped to engage with the track sprocket. The 'clutch engaging member' piece doesn't line up correctly with clutch and prevents the clutch from lining up with the sprockets' gold notch. The 'clutch engaging member' holds up the clutch with it's key'ing just enough so the clutch does not engage the sprocket and its gold notch. I have to take a screw drive and line up the 'clutch engaging member's' key with the clutch. Once the Key on the 'clutch engaging member' lines up with the clutch's key the whole thing falls together and starts scanning again. I have done adjustment of the four clutches. I found the clutch engaging member spring off of the 'clutch engaging member'. Does anyone know how exactly the spring sets on the sprocket? Does the little lop on the spring go around the sprocket's gold knotch? Does the spring wrap around the knotch and the 'clutch engaging member'? Does the spring go in the little channel around the 'clutch engaging member' and then also around the sprocket gold knotch with it's little loop? I have removed it and replaced it many times and nothing seems to fix this problem. I need a definite on how the spring goes into place. I also need to know why the 'clutch engaging member' wont let the clutch down fully. It has alot of play in it but nothing looks bent or damaged. It has a slot cut in it on either side so it can give some room for the pins but it is loose. When it scans from left to right and puts a record back it works. It drops right into scan when done. When it scans right to left and ends it doesn't work and the clutch just gets stuck on the 'clutch engaging member' part. It looks like a spacer that is keyed. thanks for any help. This was one ruff jukebox.
